PESHAWAR: A 01-week training course for the Lecturers of Private Sector Colleges of Peshawar, Nowshera and Charsadda districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was held at Local Governance School located phase#7 Hayatabad Peshawar. Fifty Eight (58) Nominees of the colleges from the target areas have participated in the 92nd FEFA Training Course titled as, “Continuing Professional Development Course (CPDC)” which was the first-ever of its kind for the private sector in the province. The Course was organized with the theme: “Planning & Management on part of Faculty Staff for an Effective Class” and the primary objective “to facilitate the private sector colleges through Faculty Development Programme”. Commenced on May 18, 2017, this 7-day course was concluded on Wednesday May 24, 2017.It is pertinent to mention that the course was offered Free of Cost i.e. all expenditures were bared by Frontier Education Foundation.
Dr. Salma Masood khan, Dr. JavedIqbal, Prof. TalatKhursheed, Dr. Fida Muhammad and Dr. SumairaTaj were the Resource Persons on different topics and areas of the continuing professional Development to enhance the professional capabilities of the trainees.
Closing & Certificate Awarding Ceremony was held on Wednesday May 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM. Mr. Abdul Wahid Siraj, member FEF Board of Directors was the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, the chief guest lauded the efforts of FEF in focusing its original mandate and urged upon the successful participants of the course to apply all the methods, techniques and skills they acquired during the course. Trainees thanked the Frontier Education Foundation for providing them the professional plate-form of FEF Academy to make them more professionally equipped teachers, for far reaching results towards a meaningful positive change through education in the society.
